Tennis club Championships
Mark your calendars for November 22nd and 23rd. Our Club Mixed Doubles Championships are slated for that weekend! You can sign up by yourself if you can’t find a partner or you can sign up with your regular Mixed partner. Divisions will be decided depending on the sign up. Let’s have a great turnout this year! Entry forms are available at the Oak Village Pro Shop! Last year we had 11 teams sign up and the eventual Champions were Ellie Hertrich and Tom Spessard.
Bocce News
Attention All Bocce Players! Don’t forget Saturday, November 1st at 10:00 a.m. It’s finally cool now so no excuses about the heat, it’s perfect weather now for your outdoor activities including Bocce. Any questions about it call Linda Muligano at 382-3515.
Security Issues
With the new video cameras installed at Oak Village we can now monitor many areas at night inside and out of the club and surrounding areas. I want to thank the membership for their support and “eyes” monitoring things in the evening here. Many of you have helped me in one way or another helping to put an end to the crazy vandalism, etc… that has been happening this summer. It’s very much appreciated!
Fitness News      By Michele DiDomenico
Soon the weather will be cooling down, the water in the pools will be getting cool as well. We will continue to offer Water Aerobics until it really cools down and the water temperature dips down into the 70’s.
As an alternative to Water Aerobics Zumba classes have begun out on the pool deck. Zumba is the ultimate fun filled, dance and fitness workout. You will learn how to Merenque, Salsa, and Cha-Cha your way to rhythmic fitness. Come away energized and full of zest while getting a great workout that is REALLY FUN!
We are still having the Yoga to balance the body, mind and spirit. Check the times and days of these classes at the club, they do change depending on weather, etc….
You must strive for Health forever fitness for your healthy future which supports preventative care against hazardous health problems. If you need help with personal training at the gym please visit me at Oak Village. Thanks again for your support!
